– <\/span>This is Rover. Or should I say WAS Rover….<\/p>\n

He’s unfortunately no longer with us. I would like to take this\u00a0opportunity to offer up a moment of reflection on the short but rich\u00a0life of Rover.<\/p>\n

Oh Rover.<\/h4>\n

You were a good gold fish to us.<\/h4>\n

That day that Sara brought you home – although the rest of us were across the other side of the world, we welcomed your arrival with great joy.<\/h4>\n

You lived a life of wonder (quite possibly wondering what on Earth, us your crazy humans, were doing half the time).<\/h4>\n

Your glass bowl was a familiar fixture on our dining table.<\/h4>\n

Your little golden scales, shining just to let us know you were there.Your blue and white pebbles, soothing and calming.<\/h4>\n

And then one warm night, on the lead up to Christmas, Sara your Saviour left for Sydney and you were left alone with Us.<\/h4>\n

And the next thing I knew, I was receiving the following news:<\/h4>\n

Ames via Text:<\/h4>\n

“Rovers Dead. I’m not even kidding. How are we going to tell Sar?? I think I’m going to cry.”<\/h4>\n

(at this point I will omit the remainder of the conversation as it turned into more of a comedic\/action movie plot “Should we buy a new one?? Do you think she’ll notice??” Ewwww I’m not touching him!”)<\/h4>\n

We don’t know how it happened…but life left your little body.<\/h4>\n

We’re sorry Rover. We may of killed you.<\/h4>\n

We’d like to think you lived a good life though. You brought us much joy.<\/h4>\n

RIP little buddy.<\/h4>\n

p.s please note the irony of the movie that happened to be in this shot at a moment when Rover was very much alive….”Role Models” eeeek….Epic Fail. Don’t do what we did kiddies!!”<\/p>\n
