The Newport Mansions are just something else. If you ever find yourself in that neck of the woods take a couple of days to explore them all. The mansions were the “summer homes” of some of America’s wealthiest, some of who had travelled to Europe and loved it so much they would often have French & Italian designers brought over along with materials like marble to be used on their projects.
