Finding Wonder 18 of 100

I like reading what inspires creatives and where they find wonder for their inspiration in work.

These words are from Irene Pereyra, one half of Brooklyn based design studio, Anton & Irene
from this interview. Originally art directors working in the heart of Manhattan, they packed up and moved country (not really – just across the bridge) to take a more hands-on approach to their work and have since worked on projects with The Met Museum, Spotify, Apple, Google, Kickstarter, Redbull, Netflix, Nintendo and Balenciaga to name a few.

Photo was taken from a lookout on the old Pier 17 Mall building looking back towards the Brooklyn bridge. When I was trying to find the coordinates for today’s photo I was surprised to find that it has since been demolished and is being rebuilt. Glad we had the opportunity to experience it in it’s former glory and hopefully will get back to see what new wonder someone has created in its place.
