On a warm summer’s eve in NYC we discovered a small piece of Australia in Bryant Park. Tropfest, the short film festival, was being held and none other than Hugh Jackman was the host. We found our spot on the grass and waited for the night to fall and the films to start. All around us 100’s of voices in conversation could be heard (with more than a few middle age women there solely for Hugh Jackman haha) and it was amusing and joyful to hear the reactions of these “New Yorker’s” as they experienced the Australian Tropfest for the first time.
