Visual Inspiration 365 - If we had no winter the spring would not be so pleasant - Anne Bradstreet

Quote //  If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome – Anne Bradstreet

Dear Spring,

Why hello you lovely thing you!

I have been patiently waiting for you for a while now.

After requesting that Winter kindly pack it’s bags and move out (I suggested that perhaps it would like to go stay with some friends of mine in USA),  I’ve arranged a new set of housekeys for you, which you’ll find on the bench downstairs,  so you can come and go as you please.

You’ll be happy to know that I’ve also had a chance to freshen up the guest room since Winter moved out (had to clean out a small mountain of tissues, scarves & cold mornings…..glad to see them go!!)

There are also fresh towels in the bathroom and you are absolutely more than welcome to have your friends “fresh flowers”, “longer days” “sunny blue skies with fluffy white clouds” & “afternoon picnics”  to stay over any time.

Once again, I’m ever so glad you have finally decided to come visit and I’m looking forward to the grand times we shall have.

With love,

Sommer
